Library General Tun Ibrahim, formerly known as the Library of National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM). The library was established in May 1995 and started as the Malaysian Military Academy Library. Along with the establishment of the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) in November 2006, the library is known as the National Defence University of Malaysia Library.

The library was formerly located on level 4 and 5 at the Bestari Building then moved to a new building on January 10, 2011 with an area of 25,000 square feet and can accommodate 800 people at any one time.

NDUM library was inaugurated on December 15, 2011 by the Honourable Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the Minister of Defence of Malaysia and NDUM Library was named Library General Tun Ibrahim the former Chief of the Armed Forces and also the first recipient Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Strategic Studies) National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) during the 1st NDUM Convocation was held on October 10, 2010.

Until now, the number of library staff is 28 people, including 7 from the Management and Professional then the rest of the support group.
