Course Goals

The goal of the course Bachelor of Computer Science (Intelligent Systems) are: -

  1. Understanding the concepts and issues, technologies and methods in the development of intelligent systems for a variety of complex problems that require the application of artificial intelligence.
  2. Apply knowledge and skills in problem solving through a system safety analysis, specification, design, implementation, testing, modifications, and documentation solution in a military environment.
  3. Apply knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence to develop intelligent systems such as intelligent agents, and war games.
  4. Be prepared to do some research and innovations in the field of artificial intelligence and intelligent systems.

Duration of Study

Program in Computer Science (Intelligent System) is a full-time course that offer by UPNM. Students may be allowed for a student to study at degree level is not less than six (6) semester and no more than eight (8) semesters. The calculation of the study period is calculated from the date of first registration of students entering degree level.

Programme Structure

To qualify for the award of a degree, students are required to take and pass a number of courses required, with at least 120 units of credit.

With a Computer Science program outcomes (Intelligent System), a graduate UPNM has the following advantages:

  1. Graduates who have a strong knowledge and skills in Computer Science with specialization Intelligent Systems.
  2. Produce Safety of Intelligent Systems and trained professional who is able to apply knowledge in work and life.

  5. There is no duplication of programs offered at this UPNM with any Computer Science program offered at other universities.
  6. Graduates learn defensive principles that influence the use of computer science in the development of national defense.
  7. Graduates have the leadership skills and responsibility to individuals, communities and nations.

With the use of information and communication technology is growing rapidly in use throughout the world, including Malaysia, the need for intelligent applications in the application of IT is very high to ensure that the information is easy to use and more reliable. Therefore, this field of career opportunities open to graduates of Intelligent Systems. Graduates are produced according to the following positions:
