UPNM-ICRC: Defense Is Also About Humanity.
23 JANUARY 2026 | UPNM: In an increasingly turbulent world, modern defense is not only about military strength, but also about upholding humanitarian values and international law.
In this spirit, the new Regional Delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mr. Jürg Montani, paid a courtesy visit to UPNM Vice-Chancellor, Lt. Jen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, to strengthen the existing cooperative relationship between the two parties.
The ICRC and UPNM have long collaborated closely through the Centre for Military Law and International Humanitarian Law (CoMIHL) as a platform for training, research, and raising awareness on International Humanitarian Law.
