26 FEBRUARY 2026 | UPNM: UPNM hosted an Iftar (Breaking of Fast) Ceremony in an atmosphere of profound camaraderie, bringing together the university’s leadership, students, and staff alongside distinguished guests.

The event was further graced by the presence of Admiral Tan Sri Dato’ Setia (Dr.) Mohd Anwar bin Hj Mohd Nor (Retired), Pro-Chancellor of UPNM, and Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Syed Azman bin Syed Ibrahim, Chairman of the UPNM Board of Directors and Group Managing Director of The Weststar Group.

Notably, the presence of the Weststar family on campus reflects a unique synergy between the corporate and academic worlds—sharing blessings, strengthening ties, and instilling humanitarian values.

As the Maghrib call to prayer resonated, all attendees broke their fast together before proceeding to perform the congregational prayer. The presence of General Datuk Hj Malek Razak bin Sulaiman, Chief of Defence Forces, to perform the Tarawih prayers at the UPNM Mosque, further enriched the significance and spirit of togetherness of the Ramadan evening.
