Ramadan on campus transcends religious ritual, it is about performing deeds that serve as provisions for the hereafter.
12 MARCH 2026 | UPNM: The Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and the distribution of Aidilfitri contributions marked the conclusion of the UPNM 1447H/2026 Ihya’ Ramadan Program at the Sultan Ibrahim UPNM Mosque. The event was officiated by the Vice-Chancellor of UPNM, Lt Gen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, who also presented the contributions to the recipients.
In addition to celebrating the completion of the Quran recital by 90 staff members and students, Aidilfitri contributions totaling RM52,350 were distributed to 120 staff and 200 students in need. These funds were sourced from zakat allocations from various agencies, the Tabung Wakaf (Endowment Fund), and personal contributions from Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohamed Fadzil bin Che Din.
During the month of Ramadan, every act of charity and virtue is more than just a worldly kindness; it is a righteous deed that serves as a spiritual provision for the afterlife.
