Nearly 250 Participants, One Mission: Moving Together
9 APRIL 2026 | UPNM – Approximately 250 participants gathered for the 2026 World Physical Activity Day (WoPAD) celebration at the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya level. Hosted at UPNM, the event focused on promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
The programme brought together UPNM PALAPES Cadet Officers, PROSIS from IPG Kampus Bahasa Melayu, PROSIS from the International Islamic College, UPNM staff and students, as well as officials from the Ministry of Health Malaysia in an energetic and inspiring atmosphere.

The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Datin Dr. Haliza binti Abdul Manaf, State Health Director of WPKL&P, and was attended by YBhg. Lt Gen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, Vice Chancellor of UPNM.
Organised through a strategic collaboration between JKWPKL&P, the Cheras Health Office, the University Health Centre, the UPNM Registrar's Office, and the UPNM PROSIS Club, the event also featured the presentation of the PROSIS Active Icon Award (Anugerah Ikon Aktif Unggul) and a special commendation for PROSIS UPNM’s 10th Anniversary.
More than just an event, WoPAD 2026 serves as a testament that a healthy lifestyle begins with a single step.
