UPNM Vice-Chancellor Pays Courtesy Call on TYT Melaka, Highlights MADANI Adopted Village Program
11 APRIL 2026 | MELAKA: The Vice-Chancellor of UPNM, Lt Gen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, today paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Tun Seri Setia Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Melaka. The meeting took place immediately following the Handover Ceremony of the MADANI Adopted Village Program (Program Kampung Angkat MADANI) in Kampung Alai.
This program is a MADANI Government initiative spearheaded by UPNM, bringing significant transformation to Kampung Alai through infrastructure development and community initiatives valued at RM1 million, which are now being fully utilised by the local residents.

In a cordial atmosphere, the Vice-Chancellor shared how the implementation of this program not only empowers the community but also develops human capital and future talent, aligning with UPNM’s role as the nation’s sole premier defence university.
The visit serves as more than just a reflection of current achievements; it is a strategic step towards expanding the program's scope, positioning Kampung Alai as a comprehensive model for community development.
