23 APRIL 2026 | MITEC: Through the forum “Shaping The Future Force: AI and Cybersecurity as the Vanguard of Digital Defence,” UPNM has reinforced its leadership in driving strategic dialogue regarding the nation's digital defence preparedness at DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026.

The Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, emphasized that national defence is a collective responsibility to ensure that the sovereignty, peace, and stability of the nation remain preserved.

In alignment with this vision, the Vice-Chancellor of UPNM, Lt Gen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, highlighted the university’s commitment to nurturing defence talent who are not only technologically literate but are also capable of applying such expertise in the defence of the nation.
