UPNM Strengthens Educator Scholarship Agenda, Launches UPNM30 Monitoring System (e-PMS)
18 MAY 2026 | UPNM: UPNM continues to strengthen its agenda for academic excellence through the organization of the UPNM30 Strategic Plan Town Hall Session: Educator Scholarship (Kesarjanaan Pengajar). The town hall served as a key platform to outline the university’s strategic direction in empowering a culture of scholarship and teaching excellence.
The programme also witnessed the launch of the UPNM30 Monitoring System (e-PMS), designed to reinforce the implementation monitoring of the university’s strategic initiatives in a more systematic and focused manner. Additionally, a montage titled "UPNM30: A Year of Realizing Aspirations" (UPNM30: Setahun Merealisasi Aspirasi) was screened to mark the one-year anniversary of the Vice-Chancellor’s Inaugural Address.

The session proceeded with a presentation on the Educator Scholarship Strategic Thrust by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Ts. Dr. Norhana binti Abdul Halim, followed by a keynote address from the Vice-Chancellor, Lt Jen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad. In his address, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized that empowering teaching excellence is a vital pillar in ensuring UPNM remains highly competitive.
The event concluded with an interactive dialogue with the UPNM community, opening avenues for two-way engagement and the sharing of views and ideas to collectively strengthen the scholarship agenda and realize the UPNM30 aspirations.
