Sincere Prayers Accompany a Holy Journey
20 MAY 2026 | SUBANG: Early this morning at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, the atmosphere was serene and filled with deep gratitude. There were no discussions of duties, nor any lengthy official matters. It was simply a brief yet profoundly meaningful gathering, bringing together heartfelt prayers for a leader embarking as a guest of Allah.
UPNM’s Top Management, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Lt Jen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, was present to bid farewell to Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Syed Azman bin Syed Ibrahim, Chairman of the University Board of Directors, who is embarking on his spiritual journey to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.
Beyond the immense responsibilities of steering the university, this morning's moments served as a gentle reminder that UPNM is not just an institution, but a family that prays for one another.

Witnessing a revered leader preparing to journey to the Holy Land brought a profound sense of humility to everyone present. The well-wishes, handshakes, and smiles shared this morning flowed sincerely, carrying wishes for a smooth and eased sacred journey.
The entire UPNM community raises their hands in prayer to the Almighty, supplicating that Tan Sri be granted good health, serenity of mind throughout his acts of worship, continuous divine protection, and that he returns with the reward of a Hajj Mabrur (an accepted pilgrimage).
Safe travels, Tan Sri. Our sincere prayers accompany your every step in the Holy Land. And during the blessed hours of answered prayers there, please remember us—the entire UPNM community—in your prayers.
Labaik Allahuma Labaik.
