Some things cannot be measured by numbers. One of them is the true value of sacrifice.
29 MAY 2026 | UPNM: The UPNM-level Qurban (Sacrifice) Programme today brought the university community together in an atmosphere filled with solidarity and gratitude. The Vice-Chancellor, Lt Jen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, alongside the University’s Top Management, was also present to grace the event, which serves as one of the main highlights in conjunction with Eid al-Adha.
A total of seven cattle were sacrificed in accordance with Islamic rites before being distributed to eligible members of the campus community.

Beneath the communal work (gotong-royong) that had been underway since morning, a profound spirit of mutual assistance, sharing of blessings, and strengthening of bonds (silaturahim) shone through. While to some it may seem like a simple distribution of meat, to those present, it served as a poignant reminder that the most beautiful blessing is found in sharing with others.
That is the true beauty of Eid al-Adha. It is not merely about what is sacrificed, but about what can be given to others.
