The programme, which involved 75 visually impaired participants, was part of "Splash of Confidence 3.0: 75 Waves of Courage." The opening ceremony and presentation of the MBR certificate were officiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Kol (K) Prof. Dr. Khairol Amali Ahmad. Also in attendance were the Chief Executive Officer of MAB, Dato’ George Thomas, and representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS).
This programme serves as a testament that defence extends beyond national sovereignty to encompass human security and community well-being. Through the integration of academic expertise, social empathy, and student leadership, UPNM continues to reinforce its role as an institution that develops knowledge, character, and solutions for the benefit of society.
