UPNM Appointed Strategic Role to Drive the Defence Capacity Blueprint 2026-2030.
25 JUNE 2026 | KUALA LUMPUR: The launch of the National Defence Strategic Plan (PSPN) and the Defence Capacity Blueprint (RTKP) 2026-2030 by the Minister of Defence, YB Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, marks a significant milestone in strengthening the nation's defence capabilities.
In executing this national agenda, UPNM has been entrusted with a pivotal role as the primary institution for defence human capital development, research, innovation, and technology to support the implementation of the RTKP.

The UPNM delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Aidy bin Ali, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), was present to attend the launching ceremony.
In line with the UPNM30 aspirations, the university will continue to reinforce its education, research, and strategic collaboration ecosystems to produce future-ready defence leaders and professionals capable of confronting tomorrow's challenges
