In this spirit, the new Regional Delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mr. Jürg Montani, paid a courtesy visit to UPNM Vice-Chancellor, Lt. Jen Datuk Wira Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad, to strengthen the existing cooperative relationship between the two parties.
The ICRC and UPNM have long collaborated closely through the Centre for Military Law and International Humanitarian Law (CoMIHL) as a platform for training, research, and raising awareness on International Humanitarian Law.

23 JANUARY 2026 | PUTRAJAYA: Prof. Dr. Adam Leong Kok Wey, Director of CDISS UPNM, was invited to serve as Moderator in the PUSPAHANAS Lecture Series alongside NATO representatives, discussing NATO’s role in today’s global security landscape.
The program was held in conjunction with the working visit of Mrs. Gwendoline Vamos, Head of NATO’s Indo-Pacific Department to Malaysia, recognizing UPNM’s expertise in defense and international geopolitical issues.
When global security discourse is discussed, UPNM’s voice is also at the negotiation table.
